Snow Day Homework
Please ensure that all homework set this week is completed. Additionally, Year 5 should log onto mathletics to practise the areas of maths they have been covering this week. Year 6 make sure you go back over any areas that you do not feel confident with.
Finally, if you are feeling creative and have had enough of snowball fights then please feel free to create a poem or picture based on the theme of snow. See you all on Monday!
Welcome to our new theme for the spring term 'Down Under'. We will be exploring the landscape of Australia through the book 'Are We There Yet?' by Alison Lester. We will be writing diaries, non-chronological reports and poetry all linked to our theme.

World War Two
A siren goes off, the luftwaffe are overhead, bombs are falling, buildings are crumbling. Take cover! Britain is at war.
We are going to be finding out what life was like for a child during the second world war. We will find out what it was like to be an evacuee, what the food was like and how they lived from day to day.
We will keep you up to date on our journey through the war years through to the day that peace is declared.
