Diocese of Gloucester Academies Trust
St David's C of E Primary Academy is expected to join the Diocese of Gloucester Academies Trust on 1st October 2023.
The purpose of the Diocese of Gloucester Academies Trust (DGAT) is to provide children of all faiths and none with excellent educational provision which transforms lives within a caring and supportive Christian ethos. Our aim is, therefore, to provide a complete and fully-inclusive education which:
- Enables human flourishing by encouraging pupils’ and adults’ gifts and talents;
- Nurtures the social, moral, spiritual and cultural development of the academy community, as well as maximising the progress, achievement and attainment of every child;
- Celebrates the intrinsic value of every person, made in the image of God.
The Diocese of Gloucester Academies Trust (DGAT) works with academies which realise the benefit of a collaborative approach to sustaining and developing excellent educational provision.
The mission of the Trust is to create and sustain a family of academies in the Diocese of Gloucester which provides children of all faiths and none with excellent educational provision within a distinctively caring and supportive Christian ethos.
The vision of the Trust is to build and sustain a community of learning where staff and pupils can realise their potential and enjoy life in all its fullness.
