Exciting visits to support our themes
The children at St. David’s C of E Primary School have started the new academic year with a range of exciting school trips.
The children in the Falcon’s classes have been on a school visit to Fosseway Garden Centre as part of their Scented Garden topic. The children had a wonderful time and enjoyed planting bulbs and finding out more about gardening.
Bell boating was the buzzword in the Eagles classes as they went on an amazing trip to Fladbury on 8th September to find out more about bell boating. The children’s cooperation, communication and listening skills were vital to their success and they managed to successfully navigate the river, negotiate a lock and return to school (fairly) dry and in one piece.
The children in Scops class took part in a maths puzzle challenge organised by Chipping Campden School. This event really did challenge them and it was wonderful to see the children applying their logic and reasoning skills to solve the puzzles.
Thank you to all of the staff and parent volunteers who helped to make the trips a real success.
